Western seven tones scale. Do Le Mi Fa So La Si Do (C D E F G A B)

M.T.L.2
Messiaen’s second mode of transpositions limited. It consists of 8 notes, C-half-Db-full-Eb-half-E-full-F#-half-G-full-A-half-Bb-full-(C). Starting from C, you can only transpose this scale three times because the relational difference of each note from Eb is same from C.

Romany 5
Romany five tones scale. G Bb C D F.
It consists of two tetrachords, G Bb C and D F G. Same Japanese folk song’s tune.

Romany 7
Romany seven tones scale. So called gipsy scale. Seven tones consists of A B C D# E F G#.

diatonic 6 tone

Debussy’s favorite scale. And it’s the same of Messian’s M.T.L.1.

Skryabin
Skryabin’s scale. Six tones scale, C D E F# A Bb.

An Arabic scale called magam, Ebb F G Ab B C D (bb means quarter tone)

pelog patet nem
5 tones scale in Java.
Pelog scale consists of seven notes (D Ebbb F G## A Bb C, bb. ## means quarter tone). You can get these seven notes by dividing a octave into nine equally and excluding 4th & 9th note. Pelog patet nem is a scale made of these seven notes excluding 4th & 7th. It is “D Ebbb F A Bb”.

In this scale, excluding 1th & 4th from Pelog scale. It is “A Bb C Ebbb F”.

slendro
5 tones scale in Java, named slendro, usually used by voices and string instruments.
D F G A C. It looks like pentatonic major, but the pitch of each note is different, consisting from five notes by dividing 1 octave equally (240cents interval). No other country has such a scale.

7 equal temparament
Thai’s scale, consisting from seven notes by dividing 1 octave equally (172 cents).

Ryuukyu
Ryuukyu(An island far south of Japan)‘s scale. C E F G B. It consists of two tetrachords. C D E and G B C.

Enka
Minor pentatonic scale in Japan. Many Japanese “Kara-oke songs” have been made of this scale.
D Eb G A Bb. It consists of two tetrachords. D Eb G and A Bb D.

Syou18
Syou is an instrument of Gagaku in Japan. Gagaku is court music of Japan and the oldest music now alive.
C6 G5 D5 A4 E5 B4 F#5 C#5 G#5 C6 G5 D6 A5 E6 B5 F#6 C#6 G#5. They are tuned pure five except G#5-C6.

M.T.L.6
Messiaen’s sixth mode of transpositions limited. It consists of 8 notes, C-full-D-full-E-half-F-half-F#-full-Ab-full-Bb-half-B-half-(C). Starting from C, you can only transpose this scale only six times as the relational difference of each note from Fb is the same from C.

M.T.L.3
Messiaen’s third mode of transpositions limited. It consists of 9 notes, C-full-D-half-Eb-half-E-full-F#-half-G-half-Ab-full-Bb-half-B-half-(C). Starting from C, you can transpose this scale only three times because the relational difference of each note from Eb is the same from C.
